All I want for Christmas….

My biggest wish this Christmas is to have some peace for a few days from the hustle and bustle of  life – and I don’t think I’ m on my own here. With the familiar rush of last minute Christmas shopping and preparations it is easy to get caught up in the commercial side of Christmas –  resulting in us overflowing with gifts and food in honour of the festivities. Although this part of Christmas can be fun I also think it is an important time to cherish being with people you care about and to relax…..if you can. This may not always be easy in certain circumstances but if you can take some time to enjoy being in the moment during the festive period – without worrying about the past or future – it could work wonders for your stress levels! I will certainly be attempting to practice mindfulness over Christmas and bearing in mind the quote – ‘laughter is the shortest distance between two people.’ (Victor Borge)

Have a Merry Christmas!
